Summer job!!

I wouldn't want to be a mailman. If I were a mailman, your mail would always come in late. You'd never get anything on time because I'd be lazy and all. I'd probably lose my job in days. I don't think I'd wanna be a tricycle driver either. First of all, my sense of direction -what sense of direction?- sucks. Second, I'd probably forget I was driving for other people, and go to places I like instead. I think about myself a lot, haha. I also wouldn't want to be a security guard-- I'd surely doze while on duty. Hayyy, why is it so hard to find a job ba? Haha.

Okay, that was very, very, very weird. I know! (Parang dream sequence na ewan!) I was rethinking all my summer plans and figured none of them seem possible anymore. (Ehem, Fete?) What I did was think of jobs I could get besides those the restos offer during summer. Mailman? Nah. Tricycle driver? Er. Guard? Nope. Tiga-trapik nalang kaya?

Ang sad. Haha. I've only got one month of vacation left and I haven't even done anything yet It's soooo sad! "...I need some kind of star to bring me somewhere far" talaga! All I have is this blog and this blog is proof that I haven't done anything. Tingnan mo naman yung mga sinusulat ko. Haha! I need your pity!!! :))

Three days of....

Monday morning (April 18)
*Watches dad and brother pack things into car, they're hoping to leave for the beach in five minutes*
Me, to my sister: Are they 'gonna be back na kaya in time for the Kwarto shoot?
My sister: Ask...

Me: Oooooh! Sama ako!!

Hahaha. I packed and got ready in less than twenty minutes.

The trip to Batangas was around two hours long-- no stopovers. I was stuck in a car with three guys-- namely 'my dad', 'my brother' and 'my brother's friend'. Now I know I never wanna be stuck in a car with (just) guys for more than an hour. They burp, they fart and they say things that make no sense at all.

So okay... I was stuck with them for two nights and three days but I've got to admit it wasn't so bad. I had fun picking on my brother and his friend-- you know... the usual brother-sister thing but in this case, there was another kid to make bara. Haha.

We spent most of our time swimming, so I'm quite burned. Haha. (I'd post the pics but unfortunately there's something really wrong with my camera. I was trying to take my dad's picture... it flashed but then when I tried closing the lens, it wouldn't go back in. Right now, it's completely DEAD. I tried plugging it to transfer the pictures but it still won't work... So... oh well.. Haha.. Next time nalang.)

The trip home was... I don't know how to describe it. All I can say is they burp, they fart and they say things that make no sense at all.

Booooring

Happiness! Haha. I miss plastic balloon. I miss the really stinky, icky stuff in the tube. I miss blowing the balloons up and making those poppey noises. I miss the awful, migraine-causing smell! Hahaha the picture makes me look crazy. Hahaha. Labo, grabe.

It was Allison's birthday last Thursday and we -Allison, Becca, Chesca, Christine, Nicole, Sam and I- were supposed to have lunch today. Nicole and I were already in Town when sila Chesca texted us that the

lunch thing was going to be on some other day instead. Grabe, we felt soooo stupid. Hahaha. We had nothing to do pa. I was going to have my ears pierced again (since most of the holes closed over the school year) and Nicole got inggit. Haha. We were thinking of having the upper part pierced, but then we found the thought of having holes in your cartilage really scary. Hahaha. So yeah, I ended up with those. (points at the picture) Five na. Haha. Grabe wala talaga akong magawa sa buhay. Hahaha. Not long after that, Nicole and I decided to eat nalang since we were both starving. We had KFC and then Wrap 'n Roll (wahaha, treeepol tsokoleyyt!) That really made our day. Hahaha.

Did nothing today. I, or we got up quite late again. (although I know that it doesn't really matter what time you get up on Sundays) We had [really] late lunch and thought of going back to sleep an hour later. How sad. Lol.

garrr.. hahaha..

I just realized how squishy this layout looks. It looks like I stuffed 142, 654, 653, 183, 523, 845, 985, 764, 241, 102 words in a small box, so it's like... tight. Haha. Oh well.

Today was a rather weird day. Why?

We -mom, sister, I- got home at 3:30 AM
We -mom & I- slept at 6:30 AM
I first stood up at 12:32 PM but went back to sleep after two minutes
I finally got up (for real) at around 1:45 PM
I didn't feel the hours pass

Okay. Labo. But weird pa rin. Our maid comes and says, "Biang, 'di pa ba kayo kakain?" and I give her a "Huh?" face, as if trying to say, "Kakain? Dinner? Ngayon?" then it hits me. Crap! It's 9:30 PM! Haha. I could've sworn I was only awake for like three hours. At least that was how it felt.

Oh, oh... I was Ipod-ing a while ago and I decided to shuffle the songs and something cool/strange happened. (Before I narrate-- I have exactly 1,900 songs stored, okay. Statistics! Haha.) So yeah, I set it to 'shuffle' and then play a song. After that song, it plays the Eraserheads' Shirley. After Shirley, it plays Honky-toinks Granny which is also by the Eraserheads. After Honky-toinks Granny it plays Tindahan ni Aling Nena, also by the Eraserheads. Weird and cool! Maybe the Ipod likes Eheads? Haha. Weird na rin 'coz they're all from Ultraelectromagneticpop!. Hahahaha! Ang coooool!! Wala lang. I just wanted to share. Hahaha.

SOC! Please!!

I [so badly] want to upload my new layout but I'm afraid it'll make you think I'm sulking or whatever. You might think I'm way depressed-- which I am not. (I am just bored out of my head. Haha.) And besides, I love seeing these people's faces. I've been missing 'em a lot. In fact... I've been missing all our canteen kalokohans. I miss the ketchup. I miss the really sucky fries. I miss sharing tapa. I miss Pizza Hut. I miss the ice we throw at each other (lol). And oh, I miss being late for the classes after breaks. (What would we-Chesca, Christine, Allison, Sam, Becca, Nicole, and I- be without tardiness, eh? Ahaha.) I haven't seen them since Nicole's party (and some since Freshmen Night) I can't wait 'til our next SOC.

The only friend I've seen this summer is Cess-- I bumped into her the other day, Monday. We caught ourselves hugging in the middle of the food court. Haha! I've just got to go out with all of you again. Haha.

Kid problems

I had a [really] bad dream last night-- summer was over and I almost thought it was real.

Home isn't as depressing as it was two weeks ago but just the same, I've been making it a point to find ways to get myself out of here. My brother and I fight over the computer every other hour so I told myself I'd rather just find some other ways to occupy myself to avoid having to deal with the kid.

Whenever I'm left with nothing to do, I usually just stare at this autographed (it's got plenty) Muziklaban poster or I stand in front of two fans and watch the blades go round and round and round and round. Lol. Man, I can't wait till Fete work time. Haha.

Happy day?

I was out [almost] all day yesterday. I got up quite early because my brother's friend was dropped here by his mom-- my brother was treating his friends to lunch because it was his birthday last Thursday. Back to being out all day-- we left the house to go to Town at around 10:30,and deposited the boys at one of those netwrork gaming places.

My mom and I decided to go around the mall, 1.) because we had two hours to spare, and 2.) because we haven't really been checking Town out anymore (haha). We ended up having early lunch, as I ended up having my ears pierced again (some holes closed over the school year since teachers would ALWAYS ask me to remove the earrings). After walking, walking, walking, we decided to go feed the boys (haha).

I remembered my thirteenth birthday. I tried to remember how everyone but everyone poured hot sauce into their iced tea... how the girls would force the guys to drink the spicy tea. Well, just like at my birthday, my brother and his friends mixed coke, Kikoman and iced tea with rice. (Yes, rice) I, of course, had to join in. Haha! I felt like a kid but I didn't care.

After lunch, we again left them to play whatever it is they play-- Ragnarok, I guess. My mom and I went around again. I bought new strings and had my nails cleaned (arte. ahaha.) After-after na, we picked my brother and his friend up and went home.

I was actually supposed to be stuck at home again after that. My mom was going to a wake and I begged if I could come along. So yeah, I ended up going out again. Haha. My sister and I met a lot of her high school classmates. I tried to imagine all the crazy stories my mom would tell us... her crazy high school days stories, and yeah, they sure seemed like the sira-sira girls in her kwentos.

We had an 11pm dinner, which we very much enjoyed. (Iba talaga pag girls night out, diba?) We got home a bit before 1am. We didn't go to bed right away... at least I didn't. (No, I didn't stay up thinking) I was just glad I didn't have to spend all day here at home.

PS The Pope just died. Some prayers for him would be wonderful.
